Wellness doesn't always start with what's wrong.

Sometimes it starts with music, food, laughter, making something, realizing someone else feels the same way, discovering you're good at something, or being trusted with responsibility. Run That Back Wellness creates room for all of it.

“We don't ask young people to become experts in mental health. We give them opportunities to become experts in themselves.”

Our Programs

Different spaces. One purpose.

YOUTH PROGRAM

The Becoming Project™

A youth wellness, life-skills and leadership program where young people learn themselves, trust themselves and support each other through conversation, creativity, reflection, challenges and community.

Discover • Connect + Create • Lead

Sun Room

A supportive space for boys to connect, reflect, create, build confidence and develop tools for navigating everyday life.

Bloom Room

A supportive space for girls to explore identity, confidence, creativity, connection and personal growth.

The Becoming Project™

Learn Yourself. Trust Yourself. Support Each Other.

The Becoming Project is a youth wellness, life-skills and leadership experience. It is not therapy, group counseling, diagnosing, or about “fixing” teenagers. Young people experience games, conversations, challenges, creativity, journals, projects, friendship and leadership.

Leadership
Andrees McCormack, founder of Run That Back Wellness Community Initiative
Meet the Founder

Built with young people in mind.

Run That Back Wellness was founded by Andrees McCormack from a belief that young people deserve support before they are in crisis—and that wellness can happen through ordinary, meaningful moments of connection.

The initiative brings together community wellness, youth programming, creativity and education to build spaces where young people can show up as themselves, discover their strengths and eventually lead.

Young people don't need us to “fix” them. They need spaces that recognize what's already inside of them.

Come grow with us.

Parents, young people, schools, community organizations, volunteers, funders and partners all have a place in this work.
